California provides limited approval of non PFOS based fume suppressants

California limits the use of NON PFOS Based fume suppressants to only those approved by the State of California. Furthermore, certain OEM and DOD specifications will not allow process changes to NON PFOS based fume suppressants, requiring chromium electroplaters and anodizers to install control equipment like the Spectra U Chrome Mist eliminator.
