Fiberglass Tanks

Certain processes require the need of fiberglass materials for construction. KCH Fiberglass Tanks can be made with specialty resins, depending upon the application. They have excellent structural properties. Certain resin/glass combinations can withstand temperatures of up to 250°F.

Advancements in plastics have led polypropylene to be the material of choice over fiberglass or steel for most wet process tanks. Polypropylene is a homogeneous material, whereas fiberglass is not. Automated welding of thermoplastics can reduce the chance for human error, whereas fiberglass is a very labor intensive manual process.
